Something Unexpected is an original 36 × 24 acrylic mixed media abstract painting built through layers of texture, scraping, and expressive marks. Soft whites and earthy grays give way to deep charcoal, weathered brown, and small flashes of rust.
The surface is deliberately raw, with traces of what came before still visible. There’s something new to find each time you look—an edge, a mark, or a color coming through where you didn’t expect it.
